Kari Hawthorne

Kari Hawthorne earned her B.A. from Oklahoma State University and J.D. from Oklahoma City University School of Law with a certificate in Alternative Dispute Resolution. Kari defends a variety of individual and corporate clients in medical malpractice and personal injury cases in civil district, appellate, and administrative proceedings.



Kari is AV Preeminent rated from Martindale Hubbell, a distinction fewer than five-percent (5%) of lawyers may claim. She is licensed to practice in the State of Oklahoma, United States District Courts for the Northern and Western Districts of Oklahoma, and the United States Supreme Court. Kari is a member of the American Bar Association, Oklahoma Bar Association, and Oklahoma County Bar Association. She is also a Barrister in the Ruth Bader Ginsburg Inn of Court, a member of the Defense Research Institute, President-Elect of the Oklahoma Association of Defense Counsel, serves as a board member of the OCU Alumni Association, and sits on the Bench and Bar Committed of the Oklahoma Bar Association.
