Kari A. Hawthorne
Kari Hawthorne earned her Bachelor of Arts from Oklahoma State University and her Juris Doctor from Oklahoma City University School of Law, where she also obtained a certificate in Alternative Dispute Resolution. Her practice focuses on defending individual and corporate clients in medical malpractice and personal injury matters in civil district, appellate, and administrative proceedings.
Kari holds an AV Preeminent® rating from Martindale-Hubbell, a distinction earned by fewer than five percent of attorneys. She is licensed to practice in the State of Oklahoma; the United States District Courts for the Northern and Western Districts of Oklahoma; and the United States Supreme Court. Kari is a member of the American Bar Association, Oklahoma Bar Association, and Oklahoma County Bar Association. She is also a Barrister in the Ruth Bader Ginsburg Inn of Court, a member of the Defense Research Institute, President-Elect of the Oklahoma Association of Defense Counsel, a board member of the OCU Alumni Association, and has served on the Bench and Bar Committee of the Oklahoma Bar Association.
